I read with a growing feeling of apprehension about the pending merger of The Equal Opportunities Commission, The Commission for Racial Equality and Disability Rights Commission into one super-Quango of  bothersome unelected Officials, all regaling the need for enforcing, through statue, minority opinions and needs on the majority.  I fear a time in the not too distant future where I will be labelled "racists" and Homophobic"  simply for existing as a gay Asian male and through my existence cause others to think such words as "Phaki" or "homo". 

Save me Save me

This world has gone mad and it's swiftly moving to the point whereby we'll all need soft rooms with long-sleeved jackets that fasten at the back.  Yes !! I am gay and I am Asian.  I can almost hear the bloody goons at these quango's mobilising en mass to provide me, the victim, with bundles of leaflets, free legal counsel and guidance on how to "act" the "poor downtrodden".

Damn it !  I am not some statistic to reside on their database to help them to qualify for their obscene budgets.  We, the gay ethnics are not in any way different from anyone else. Our sexuality does not and should not make us any different from anyone else, and I am sick to the back teeth of the racial advocate piilocks who spout off about what is good and what is not good for us "Asians" when they don't have a bloody clue what they are talking about.  Once again, this is an example of why some white people have got their backs up.  We don't ask for these people to champion our cause.  We just want to live in peace, with our diversity,  that makes us who we are, and without the help of some self important liberal Foggarty gaining unearned and unelected power on the back of our so called rights movement.

My friends are a mixed bag of white, black, asian, gay, lesbian, bi, straight people who are mostly forward thinking and smart.  Never, ever have I solicited the help of any of these organisations to further my cause.  I am a graduate with a good degree and a good job.  I worked hard to get it, I work hard to earn my money and I don't want some pestilent dick head screwing up the resume of my past with their petty foggy interfering antics, thank you.

This has to stop now !!

Do you know what?  People have to watch what they say in front of me these day, for fear of being dragged through the courts.  It makes for a distinctly foul tasting atmosphere at work.........until assure people that I am not an over sensitive victim, just waiting for them to say the wrong thing so that I can scurry off to the tribunals, tissue in one hand, leaflets in the other and sue for lots and lots of unearned money.

Seriously people, all this does is make normal everyday conversation the subject of potential litigation.  Bands of scroungers and serial litigants must be rubbing their sweaty palms in glee at the announcement of this news. 

My message is this.  Leave me to forge my own way based on my skills and intellect.  I don't need your help, don't want it and see it as nothing more than a danger to my freedom and the freedom of thought of my friends.
